Fiona, holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is currently pursuing her LLM in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Nairobi. Fiona joined the firm in January 2016 as a trainee advocate and upon admission in March 2017, she was engaged as an Associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department where she has been dealing in commercial transactions, debt recovery, Insurance claims, general contract law and practice. Fiona has also served in Conveyancing Department where she was involved in perfection of Bank securities and other conveyancing transactions. Between February and July, 2019, Fiona was seconded by the Firm to NCBA Bank Kenya PLC (formerly Commercial Bank of Africa Ltd) where she served in the Bank’s Legal department. Prior to joining Wainaina Ireri Advocates LLP, Fiona served as a legal intern at MMAN Advocates between October and December 2014.
When not serving Clients at Wainaina Ireri Advocates LLP, she enjoys drawing, painting, participating in outdoor activities, music, swimming, and reading.
